# Token Features

USDpm, USD for precious metals, is an USD synthetic stablecoin. Each token represents 1 USD that is circulated within precious metals ecosystem.

### 1. Transferability & Redemption

* Permissionless transfers: Holding, purchasing, selling back, transferring, and secondary-market swaps of USDpm are permissionless on supported chains.
* Redemption: Converting USDpm to USDT/USDC/fiat requires compliance checks; additional fees and minimums may apply (per program terms).
* Risk controls (rare cases): For security and legal compliance (e.g., cooperating with authorities on exploits or sanctions), specific addresses may be restricted/blacklisted in line with our Terms and applicable law.
